God is both bigger & also within us, as noted by a child
-- A story told
to
me sometime ago. I think of it almost daily.
When picking up her daughter from Sunday school class, the mother
sees
a confused look on the girl's face.
The mom asks how Sunday school went.
The daughter says "fine", but has a question, "My Sunday school teacher
told
me that God was bigger than each one of us. Is that true?"
The mom said, "yes, that sounds right."
The daughter then asks, "She also said that GOD was in each of us. Is
that
true."
Even after mom said "yes", she noticed the girl still look confused.
The girl then said, "If both of those are true, shouldn't we see GOD
coming
out of each of us?!?".
The mother was astounded & pleased by this insight.
After some thought, the mother said, "Well you can, but you usually
have
to be looking for Him
in each person to see Him!!!! You have to keep you eyes &
heart
open in each face you meet !!!"
